Dr. Cristoffer Montenegro is a passionate and highly skilled dentist with over 13 years of experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and more than 7 years of specialized expertise in Orthodontics. Known for his precision, dedication, and patient-focused care, Dr. Montenegro combines advanced clinical knowledge with a compassionate approach to deliver exceptional results for every patient he serves.
Dr. Montenegro’s professional journey began after earning his degree in Dentistry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua, where he later completed postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012 and Orthodontics in 2018. Over the years, he has practiced in both private and institutional settings, gaining a reputation for excellence in complex surgical procedures, orthodontic treatments, and evidence-based dentistry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Montenegro has a strong academic background. He served as a faculty professor at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua and as an Associated Orthodontic Specialist at its León campus. His commitment to education extends internationally as a faculty professor for Live Implant Training (LIT), where he trains dental professionals in Mexico and Nicaragua.
In the United States, Dr. Montenegro continued to elevate his career by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he also served as Chief Resident. His extensive clinical background, combined with leadership roles in education and training, positions him as a well-rounded and respected professional in the dental field.
Today, Dr. Montenegro works as a traveling dentist, bringing advanced surgical and orthodontic care to a wide range of patients and practices. His skills include oral surgery, orthodontics, implant dentistry, and comprehensive dental care, supported by strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
